Arin (Stranger #70/100), Washington DC

Arin moved to Washington DC for school. “Finance is the lifeblood of a business,” he noted – outlining a bold plan to launch his own enterprise in the years ahead.

Walking at pace towards The White House on a Sunday afternoon, Arin carried himself with purpose despite the casual style. I like how his portrait managed to capture some of that poise in his level stare.

Somewhat appropriately, we shot just outside the IMF offices on Pennsylvania Ave, where a giant wall of ridge red marble slides with a curved slick waterfall, seen in the background of this shot. He’s holding a single golden reflector just below shot.

This is portrait #70 of my 100 Strangers Project – check out the group page and get involved.

Finally, I’m now live on Facebook; www.facebook.com/Flatworldsedge.
